Week 1: The Wholehearted Call to Discipleship
“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.” — Matthew 16:24
What does it mean to truly follow Jesus? The Wholehearted Call to Discipleship explores the depth of Christ’s invitation, the cost of commitment, and the eternal rewards of living a surrendered life. This transformative journey will inspire you to walk boldly in faith, embrace Kingdom purpose, and grow deeper in your relationship with the Lord. Are you ready to answer the call?
Week 2: The Word of God & The Holy Spirit’s Role in Transformation
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth…” — John 16:13
The journey of spiritual growth requires both the Word of God and the Spirit of God working together. The Bible provides unshakable truth, revealing God’s character, promises, and divine instructions. The Holy Spirit, our Counselor, illuminates Scripture, bringing understanding, wisdom, and the power to apply it to daily life. Without the Spirit, the Word can feel intellectual and distant; without the Word, spiritual experiences lack foundation.
In The Word & The Spirit, we explore how to deepen our knowledge of God by embracing both Scripture and the Spirit’s guidance, ensuring a life of transformation, discernment, and obedience.
Week 3: Prayer, Fasting, and Worship as Spiritual Disciplines
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8
Prayer, fasting, and worship are not just religious practices but powerful spiritual disciplines that draw us closer to God. Prayer connects us with the heart of the Father, fasting deepens our dependence on Him, and worship aligns our spirit with His presence. These disciplines are essential for spiritual growth, transformation, and a life surrendered to Christ. By committing to them, we cultivate a deeper relationship with God, experience His guidance, and walk in greater faith and obedience.
Week 4: Covenant Identity and Kingdom Authority
Many believers struggle to walk in the fullness of their calling, not because they lack faith, but because they do not fully understand their covenant identity and Kingdom authority. The moment we accept Christ, we are no longer outsiders—we become sons and daughters of God, heirs to His promises, and ambassadors of His Kingdom.
📖 Ephesians 1:3-5 (AMP) declares:
“He predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to Himself as [His own] children through Jesus Christ.”
As covenant people, we are not powerless. God has given us legal rights through Jesus to access His promises, walk in divine protection, and exercise Kingdom dominion on earth. Jesus did not only save us from sin—He restored our authority over spiritual darkness, sickness, and the enemy’s schemes.
📖 Luke 10:19 (AMP) confirms this truth:
“Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will [in any way] harm you.”
It is time for the body of Christ to rise up in boldness! No longer can we live as victims of circumstance. Instead, we must speak and enforce God’s Word, stand firm against opposition, and advance the Kingdom with power. The question is: Will you walk in the authority God has already given you?
🔥 This teaching will equip you to:
✅ Discover your true identity as a covenant child of God
✅ Learn how to exercise spiritual authority in daily life
✅ Walk in boldness and demonstrate Kingdom power
Are you ready to step into your divine authority? Selah! And Shema! 🚀🔥
Week 5: The Power of Obedience and Surrender
Obedience and surrender are not signs of weakness but profound expressions of faith. When we yield to God’s will, we step into His divine purpose, unlocking blessings beyond our imagination. Scripture reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6, AMP).
Surrendering to God means releasing control and allowing Him to lead. It is in obedience that we find true freedom, and in surrender that we discover strength. Like Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, saying, “Not My will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42, AMP), we are called to trust that God’s plans far exceed our own. When we walk in obedience, we align with His purpose, experience His provision, and live under His divine protection.
The power of obedience and surrender transforms our lives, bringing peace, clarity, and an unshakable faith in the One who holds our future. Will you trust Him today?
In Hebraic thought, obedience (Shema – שְׁמַע) is more than just hearing—it is an active response to God’s voice. Likewise, surrender (Hakanah – הַכְנָעָה) is not weakness but a powerful act of yielding to divine authority. When we walk in shema, we align our lives with God’s Word, and when we embrace hakanah, we trust His will above our own.
As Deuteronomy 6:4 (AMP) declares:
“Shema Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Echad” (שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ יְהוָה אֶחָד)
“Hear, O Israel, the LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”
Throughout Scripture, those who obey and surrender—like Abraham, Moses, and Yeshua—experience Brachah (ברכה), God’s blessing, and Shalom (שָׁלוֹם), His perfect peace.
Are you ready to walk in obedience and surrender? Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your path.
Week 6: Spiritual Warfare and Deliverance
In the unseen realm, a battle rages—a conflict between light and darkness, truth and deception, freedom and bondage. As believers, we are called to stand firm, clothed in the full armor of God, wielding the sword of the Spirit, and walking in the authority of Christ.
Deliverance is not just about breaking free from oppression; it is about stepping into the fullness of God’s victory. The chains that once bound are shattered by His power, and the strongholds of the enemy crumble before His name. With heaven’s light piercing through the storm, we are reminded that no force of darkness can withstand the radiant glory of our King.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not physical, but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds.” (2 Corinthians 10:4, AMP)
Rise up, warrior of Christ. The battle belongs to the Lord, and in Him, you are more than a conqueror!
Week 7: The Cost and Reward of Following Christ
Following Christ requires a heart fully surrendered to His call. In Matthew 16:24-25 (AMP), Jesus declares that to be His disciple, one must deny self, take up their cross, and follow Him—embracing a path of sacrifice, obedience, and unwavering faith. This journey is not for the faint of heart; it demands setting aside selfish desires and embracing the trials that come with living for His name.
Yet, the promise is far greater than the cost. While the world clings to temporary comforts, those who lose their lives for Christ will find true, eternal life. The rugged path of discipleship, though steep and demanding, leads to a reward beyond measure—life in His glorious presence, forever.
Are you willing to take up your cross, endure, and follow Him?
Week 8: Walking in Purposeful Discipleship
Discipleship is not just a calling—it is a daily journey of intentional faith, obedience, and spiritual growth. Walking in purposeful discipleship means aligning our steps with Christ, following His teachings, and leading others in His truth. Like a path illuminated by His light, each step we take in faith brings us closer to our divine purpose, shaping us into vessels of His love, wisdom, and grace. As we journey together in community, empowered by the Holy Spirit, we move toward the ultimate goal: a life that reflects Christ and glorifies God.
